About Axios
Axios Clan History
Axios clan under the name of Australian Royal Infantry was made for the EA game Battlefield 2142 by Tyson and Serevel Assassin in August 2007. Credit to them for their hard work in making the building blocks of the clan.
Our goal was to get out there, have fun and scrim as much as we could and compete in the Game Arena ladders. Over the time of the Battlefield 2142, we recruited many excellent skilled and friendly players, and had some awesome matches.
But as all good things come to a end, so did Australian Royal Infantry in Battlefield 2142. Due to the release of Call of Duty 4 and the lack of active players in 2142, the clan leaders decided to call it quits.
From here, Zalman stepped up and took full leadership of the clan on January 2008, and pushed hard to get the clan back on the road in COD4. He recruited many players, built two teams for scriming, entered the clan back into the Game Arena and CyberGamer ladders. This brought the clan back to life with the help of Delta and V as captains.
The clan continued on well for 2 years, competing in many ladders and seasons. Achieving high results in the ladders and giving Game Stah and Net Game radio fans some action worthy of listening to. We also had members attending Xlan 2009 and members competing in individual competitions like GV Contract killer and Sweet As Gaming. As a result, Axios is ranked unofficially in the top 10 of all COD4 clans in NZ. And arguably one of its best.
However like Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4 also came to a end. The game sadly became repetitive and uneventful, and the lack of new members and insane rule sets in the ladders made it hard to continue. So the clan leaders decided that a well deserved break was needed after GA season 4; in preparation for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2.
Today we still have the same goal in mind, we are professional players to get out there, get our name known, have some lolz and play plenty of pwnage scrims.
